Don't think for a second that the White House has anything to do with this Obama-ware shop or it's designs. People love Obama and retailers know it! There Obama-fashion craze is unlike anything seen before. I mean, other beloved presidents before him have been immortalized on commemorative plates, buttons and more, but this stuff is over-the-top. I think it's hilarious!
I can understand about the craze, its first black president for US, and they are cashing in his name. its a marketing strategy. But i just felt as a president of USA, he could have avoided it. Let such kind of stuff be for film stars. I am not aware where this money is going from the sale of such items, but if it is going in any philanthropic activity i am cool. But if its totally commercial, then it may not set a very good example. Tomorrow a female president can start her lingerie line, nothing wrong in it but as a respectable dignitary it may not be the best thing to do!
This store is on the lower-level of Union Station in Washington, D.C. Honestly, I think it's kind of nice to see people so excited about our president. I'll put up with the not-so-tasteful paraphernalia in exchange!

Don't underestimate the American desire to make a buck lol. Like M.J. said "People love Obama and retailers know it." Um... where's this store anyway?
