How neat! I love all the costumes and the stilt walkers are awesome! I can only imagine how cool it was in person!

Mmm, too cool. I haven't done anything for Halloween yet, but I'm soo going to El Museo del Barrio to see El Dia de los Muertos parade!

I am totally fascinated by El Dia de Los Muertos. The National Museum of the American Indian in DC hosts a celebration each year. Last year, I tried my hand at making a tissue paper flower to add to the altar they had set up. I wanted to make a sugar skull, but that workshop was already full. I have been thinking about planning a trip to Mexico for El Dia de Los Muertos--maybe to Oaxca.

Wow amazing stuff. Puts the Mummers to shames. And to think I hate Halloween!

I can't knock the Mummers, but The Great Lantern Parade is awesome. I especially love that ANYONE can be part of the parade.
