When I was little, I thought striped clouds like that were the ribs of the people who are up in heaven, like they are lying on their bellies and looking down on us.
Funny. I was actually talking to my son about the clouds today. He's too young to answer. Or to understand what I said. But he did follow my lead and looked up. That was quite the display today.
OM - I'm glad somebody else appreciated the beauty overhead. I asked a couple of people on the train if they had noticed how amazing the sky looked. None of them had. How depressing to be in such a constant state of hurry to not notice nature's majesty.
Lora--I like your way of thinking. There is definitely something about that dotted blanket in the sky that evokes a feeling of security.

Beautiful. I love them! Clouds and the sky never cease to amaze me. I can spend hours looking up.
