Baltimore recently fell from it's spot as the "murder capital" of the nation. Detroit has taken over the honor.

The per capita murder rate in Baltimore is 36.9 per 100,000 people. We have more murders than days of the year. You see a lot of these street memorials in the city....

Jack and I went to Annabelle Lee's earlier this week to celebrate his permanent placement at a school he really likes. The eerie Edgar Allen Poe decor combined with the up-beat depression era music being played, makes this a unique spot.
